Harmony of Life – A show by two choirs from different sides of the Atlantic.
The Alexandria Harmonizers (USA) and The Cottontown Chorus (Bolton). August 8th at 7pm Stockport Townhall.

One night only! Internationally acclaimed Alexandria Harmonizers (USA) and Cottontown Chorus (Bolton) combine to create a 120-strong singing powerhouse. Join them for an evening of favorite Broadway show tunes, Rock classics, Pop songs, and more! Proceeds will benefit local charities Brighter Sound and the Stockport Symphony Orchestra.

The Alexandria Harmonizers have entertained audiences around the world for over 70 years. Led by artistic director Joe Cerutti since 2007, the all-male Harmonizers have won nineteen International medals, including four championship gold medals. Based outside Washington, DC, they perform dozens of times each year, including at the White House and the Kennedy Center and are on their way to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The Cottontown Chorus progressed over the last 40 years from a barbershop quartet to more than 60 male voices singing and dancing their way to the international stage. Under the direction of Neil Firth, they garnered the Gold, their 7th in the last 13 years, at the National Barbershop Championship 2018 followed a European bronze medal, making them eligible to represent the UK in the international championships in Salt Lake City this year.

Both groups specialize in a cappella close harmony. Their combined gorgeous harmonies and choreographed moves will leave you with your foot tapping and a tune in your head!
